About the Gun

The A-100 design is a further development of Astra's earlier A-80 and A-90 models. Locked breech design with improved Browning-style linkless locking. Re-engineered in 1993, incorporating increased magazine capacity. The pistol's safety features include a manual decocking lever, firing pin block, and hammer safety, but no external manual safety.

About the Cartridge

This cartridge was introduced along with the Luger semi-automatic pistol. The pistol and cartridge was first adopted by the German Navy in 1904 and then by the German Army in 1908. This cartridge has since been adopted by the military of practically every non-Communist power. It has become the most popular and widely-used handgun cartridge in the world. Performance wise, the 9 mm cartridge has somewhat more power than the .38 Special but falls well short of the .357 Magnum.

Astra a 100 is the best

The Astra a 100 is the best Spanish military handgun ever made. The Astra a100 is chamber in 9 mm, 45 ACP, 40 S&W. It is better than its competition when it comes to durability, accuracy and defense Factor. Compared to the Sig sauer p226-228 and Beretta is a piece of s*** compared to it.
